Yet another one bites the dust. If only Gil didn't have too much hax weapons up his sleeve. Even though Iskandar isn't exactly my favorite servant in F/Z (I bow only for the true king Gilgamesh), the interaction between Waver and him never fails to amuse me. It's sad to see the most entertaining characters in the show have to leave the screen.

Now it's time for the meat of the show: the fight between Kiritsugu and Kotomine. Can't wait to see that kung-fu animated. Uhh and Saber vs Gil too I guess, even though you can hardly call that 'a fair fight'. Honestly Gil is too overpowered.
Finally Medaka Box getting into the ridiculous part that I love. A little too late I think, considering only two episodes left before it ends. But maybe Gainax already planned the second season ahead, who knows. Probably those who watch this show without knowledge about the manga will confuse as hell with this sudden genre shift. Well, let me tell you that this is the true form of Medaka Box: (borrowing Nisioisin's term) a gakuen inoue batoru manga a.k.a campus superpower battle. If you expect anything else, be ready to be upset. But if you a person like me who enjoy an over-the-top superpower fight, get ready in your seat and enjoy the show (and preferably the manga). An advice: never take its plot too seriously.
I've heard all kind of insults about the new Berserk movie, so when I finally had chance to watch it I didn't allow myself to be get excited too much. But honestly it wasn't that bad. Sure the CG is annoying as hell. I mean, can't we get it animated normally like any other anime did? However other than that, the movie is quite beautiful. I ended up taking too many screenshots instead of paying attention much to the movie. Well, the story is exactly the same with the manga bar some little details (well, actually there's some cut here and there). So other than being pretty, it didn't really worth your time. I've read the Golden Age Arc countless times so the story isn't what I'm looking for.

Berserk is one of my favorite manga so it's kinda frustrating that it never gets the anime it deserves. But let's throw the negative way of thinking. Probably the rest movies from this trilogy will get better. And I fucking hope they won't cut it halfway during the Eclipse part again like in the anime series. They'd better be not messing with that scene because I want to watch that rage of thousand burning suns from Guts.

Long story short, if you want to watch this movie and expecting something great, don't get too excited and prepare to be disappointed. You'll probably enjoy it though, but you'll still think there's something wrong. You can feel it however you cannot point out directly what exactly it is. For me, at least the movie isn't boring. At least it tried.

Twincest. Not that I'm complaining or anything though.
Here's another indie goodie I found recently. An adventure game about dream and love: To The Moon. This game is one of those games that likely can make you cry if you somehow feel related with the story. Because I'm somewhat not in the mood to write a long-ass paragraph that in the end noone can understand, have this summary from the official site:
This particular story follows Dr. Rosalene and Dr. Watts’ attempt to fulfill the dream of the dying elderly man, Johnny. In their mission to do so, they traverse backwards through the man’s memories, unfolding his curious life story before their eyes.
In short, I feel like the story is a combination of Up, Millenium Actress and Space Brothers. No, don't ask me why. I just have this thought after finishing the game. Anyway, I can guarantee that this game is worth your time. Go play it if you have time.
That time of the year has come again. Yesterday (May 31st), my favorite singer/doujin singer/former utattemita Yanagi Nagi celebrated her 25th birthday. I must say this year has been a great year for her singing career. Even though she isn't used as vocalist for supercell again after the last supercell album last year, she managed to go solo and signed contract to Geneon. She made her solo debut with Vidro Moyou which released on February 29 and it is used as Ano Natsu ED theme. That song is quite nice and I love it. A month later, her album collaboration with Jun Maeda Owari no Hoshi no Love Song was released on 25th. I can't be more happier, since Maeda's arrangement is one of my favorite. And the more recent, she's also singing the ED for Jormungand which also become her second single Ambivalentidea. It'll be released on June 6th. Other than those, her doujin career is still going strong. She's still doing stuff with circles such as PolyphonicBranch, Voltage of Imagination, Project ALCA, Last Note, and many more. Her duet group with Annabel, binaria is still awesome as ever too. I just hope her singing career will be getting more and more acknowledge. Oh yeah, she is actually had several solo live concerts sometimes but there's not much publication for those concerts, unfortunately. One of my wish is that maybe one day there's another supercell feat nagi single or album... and maybe even a big live concert too. A man can dream. Well, happy birthday Yanagi Nagi-sama! I wish you another wonderful year! May your voice stays lovely!

100k Milestone
Unrelated to the previous paragraph but I decided to write it here just because. A few days ago my blog hit 100000 views. Maybe you won't care but for me it's really important. I'm glad to see people read my blog, regardless they like it or not. Either way, thank you very much for visiting (and maybe reading a bit) this blog. You guys stay awesome and healthy!
